  28. Download the archive file(s) and extract using SparkPlug 2
  29. (see the "tools_help" file in micros/arch/riscos/tools for further info).

  32. Description:

  34. This package contains a number of tools that come in handy with PCL
  35. printers (such as the HP LaserJet and DeskJet printers). Except for
  36. the PDumperLJ module all programs are command line driven (I just
  37. don't have the time to program GUIs for each of these).

  39. PDumperLJ:     New PDumper for LaserJet (3 or newer) printers (works
  40.                with some DeskJets but won't improve anything there).
  41.                With LaserJets it can dramatically shrink the printout
  42.                size.

  44. ASC2PCL:       For LJ only: Fast, simple formatted text printing
  45.                (thumbnails) and powerful search/replace engine.

  47. PackPCL:       For LJ only: Creates PCL raster data from black & white
  48.                sprites or compresses raster areas in a given PCL file.

  50. PlaceRaster:   For LJ only: Use in conjunction with the output PackPCL
